New Colchester nursery has family day as it celebrates opening of site

A COLCHESTER day nursery and preschool celebrated its opening with tours and activities for their new families.

Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery and Preschool celebrated its opening with a family day on June 22.

Parents and carers tried out some fun nursery experiences involving gloop, playdough, arts and crafts as well as the chance to enjoy tours of the new facilities.

Becky, nursery manager at Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery, said: “The experiences we have showcased are part of our Nurture Approach, which put children’s emotional development and wellbeing at the core of everything that we do.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has visited us recently, and many thanks especially to all those families who have helped to decorate our community tree.”

Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery and Preschool offers places for children aged three months to five years old.

The facility has two toddler rooms, a preschool room, and three baby rooms.

There are also dedicated calm spaces, role play kitchens, and water play stations so children can have a “stimulating environment” to build their skills and knowledge.
