Coleen Nolan has a new man – but they're being kept apart by lockdown
Coleen Nolan has admitted she is worried her new relationship will go stale because they are being kept apart by lockdown.
The Loose Women star opened up before Christmas about finding romance again through online dating and how she had been getting to know her mystery new man.
But Nolan wrote in her Mirror column this week that love is being thwarted by the latest lockdown, as they’re stuck with video-call dates.
Wondering “how on earth to keep the relationship going”, she turned to her readers to ask for advice.
Nolan wrote: "I've got to admit, I'm not one for endless FaceTime calls – I’m not ready for him to see me in my trackie bottoms just yet and, believe it or not, I feel quite self-conscious on video calls.”
However, she shared that they spoke on the phone every day, which has been the case since the end of September, when they got together.
Nolan added: "I'm enjoying the flirtation and having something nice to look forward to during the endless hours of lockdown, but it is frustrating not being able to move things on.
“I'd love any tips for virtual dates, so drop me a line if you have any good ideas."

The 55-year-old star said that she had never much liked the idea of meeting men in bars as she doesn’t drink, so had found online dating to be the perfect solution.
She divorced her second husband Ray Fensome in 2018 and her first husband Shane Richie in 1999.
Nolan and Richie share two sons from their nine-year marriage, and she was married to Fensome for 11 years.
