Coleen Nolan has returned to Loose Women three months after she was accused of ‘bullying’ Kim Woodburn.

The former pop star received a standing ovation as she was welcomed back to the show by her fellow presenters and the studio audience. She had previously decided to step down from the daytime programme.

She made the decision after reportedly receiving death threats and an online petition to remove her from the show, which received over 25,000 votes.

Upon her return, the audience clapped and chanted her name, nearly moving her to tears.

“That was very nice. Don’t make me cry. Everyone’s been great and it’s like coming home. It’s so Christmasy!”

This came following a row with Kim Woodburn, who had previously accused the Loose Women panelist of bullying her during their time on Celebrity Big Brother together.

Woodburn had been invited onto Loose Women by the show’s bosses in an attempt to ‘make amends’ with Nolan.

But matters soon descended into chaos as Woodburn described Nolan as “trash” and a “bully” before storming off the set.

Speaking on This Morning following the row, Nolan said: “It was never meant to be like that, I genuinely thought she was coming to make amends, that is what I was told and it didn’t go that way from the moment she came out.

“And I have to say it was so shocking, genuinely shocking for all of us, I don’t like to see anyone in that much distress how she was at the end, it has been the worst week of my life.”

Woodburn also spoke about the row, telling New! magazine: “I was asked to do Loose Women and I didn’t think it would turn out like it did – very hurtful. I was told that it was a reconciliation on Coleen’s behalf… I don’t know if the producers didn’t tell her, or if they conned both of us to get us on.”
