Coleen Nolan 'thrilled' as she announces baby news in huge family update

Coleen Nolan is on cloud nine as she's gearing up to be a grandma once more.

The much-loved Loose Women panellist, from Blackpool, is all smiles as she spills the beans about her ever-expanding brood. Coleen shared how her son Jake, whom she shares with ex Shane Richie, surprised his mum that he and his partner Georgia are expecting.

It comes after an eventful few days for Coleen, 59, with unexpected family joys springing up left, right, and centre, involving her youngest Ciara's early return with her husband-to-be, Maureen Nolan's big 70th bash, and Denise's nuptials. Writing in her latest Mirror newsletter, Coleen said: "The cherry on the cake was a visit from my son Jake and his partner Georgia.

"I can finally reveal that I'm going to be a grandmother again, as they're expecting a baby at the end of the year. On Saturday, a few of us got together at my house for the gender reveal and, just as I said, 'I think it's a boy', Jake let off the confetti gun and turned the living room blue.

"I couldn't be more thrilled about having a grandson."

Coleen, mum to sons Shane Jr. , 35, and Jake, 31, with her first hubby Shane, also has daughter Ciara with second husband Ray Fensome, whom she separated from in 2018. The excitement doesn't stop as earlier this year, in April, her daughter had already set wedding bells ringing with her engagement announcement.

Ciara has excitedly announced her engagement to boyfriend Max after he proposed in Vietnam. Coleen's daughter took to social media, sharing a snap of the couple clasping hands, with her new sparkler on full display.

"This happened last night xxxx," she wrote alongside the image, adding, "It was like a fairytale and I can't wait to spend forever with you @maxxiness I love you xxx."

Coleen Nolan couldn't contain her joy as she shared a picture of the elated pair, spreading the word to her own fans. Her message read: "Well what can I say... I'm so so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful girl @ciarafensome to marry him. I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can't wait to see them. Off to buy a hat."

In her latest Mirror newsletter, Coleen reminisced about the shock she felt when Ciara and Max made an unexpected return from their travels. She recounted: "Well, what an incredible week it's been for family celebrations.

"My daughter Ciara and her fiance Max surprised me by coming home early from their travels. My partner Michael, who was in on the secret, made me get out of bed at 8am on my day off, insisting I had to let the ducks out!

"So, I was sitting in the garden having a cuppa, wondering why he couldn't deal with the ducks, when Ciara walked through the gates.

"I'm so happy to have her back and she's already transformed the annexe at my new house into the most gorgeous little home for her and Max. My place, on the other hand, still looks like it's been burgled!"
