Colorado Breaks Another Record For Fox; Texas’ Upset Over Alabama Is No. 1 CFB Game Of The Week
College football fans are continuing to take notice of Deion Sanders’ Colorado team.
The Buffaloes notched another win on Saturday in their first home game of the season, beating longtime rival Nebraska 36-14 — showing that last week’s upset over TCU was anything but a fluke. Once again, the matchup was the second most-watched college football game of the week, but it seems like the team is quickly becoming the one to watch this season.

Saturday’s game drew 8.73M viewers, which is up nearly 1.5M from last week to become Fox’s best Pac-12 regular season game ever. It’s also the network’s 10th most-watched college football game ever.
And while there was a sizable gap between the Colorado/TCU audience and the No. 1 game of the week (LSU vs. FSU), the same can’t be said this time around. Only about 300,000 more viewers tuned in to watch Texas upset Alabama on ESPN.
Now at No. 18, the team’s matchup against Colorado State could just become next week’s most-viewed game of the week. Regardless, it’s safe to say Sanders and his team will have a hefty audience on September 16.
