Comedian Rachel Parris coming to Aberdeen next month with brand new tour

Aberdeen comedy fans are in for a treat next month when BAFTA-nominated comedian and The Mash Report star Rachel Parris brings her brand new tour 'Poise' to the Tivoli Theatre.

The Live at the Apollo comic and viral sensation will bring another big laugh theatre night out to the north-east with a dazzling hour of her signature blend of stand-up and songs in her biggest tour yet.

Rachel, best known for her work as a musical comedian, improv and presenting, was nominated for Best Entertainment Performance recently by BAFTA.

She also beat Tiffany Haddish, Ellen DeGeneres and Amy Schumer to become Female First's Comedian of the Year, wih her incisive and hilarious segments on hit BBC2 series The Mash Report firmly establishing her as a breakout comedy star.

Late Night Mash on Dave has also become a worldwide viral smash hit on social media thanks to the humour of Rachel, who has appeared on an array of TV comedy shows including Would I Lie To You, Mock The Week and more.

Rachel is a founding member of acclaimed improv show Austentatious, which has toured nationally, enjoyed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and a weekly West End residency at the Fortune Theatre.

Rachel has taken many critically acclaimed solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, Soho Theatre and on tour. Her last tour 'It's Fun To Pretend' was extended due to popular demand and culminated in two sold-out shows at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre.
