Communications Firm The Lippin Group Ups Trio To Managing Director In New Executive Structure

Communications firm The Lippin Group has created a new management structure and elevated three company veterans to the position of managing director.

Chairman and CEO Dick Lippin said the company has established an Office of the Chairman, which will be staffed by Matt Biscuiti, Kevin Broderick and Katie Fuchs, who will all have the managing director title. Each of the three will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the business and developing new business growth strategies, including exploring partnership opportunities.  They will continue to maintain all client account responsibilities and will report directly to Lippin. Broderick is based in the company’s LA headquarters, and Biscuiti and Fuchs lead the firm’s New York office.

“Katie, Kevin and Matt each have a wealth of talent and experience that they will leverage to build upon the agency’s legacy to serve our current clients, find new business opportunities, and develop the next generation of our team.  All have been with the agency for more than a decade, during which they have shown significant growth in their careers, developed a deep understanding of the industry, and established strong relationships with clients, press and staff alike,” Lippin said. “Through two industry strikes and a global pandemic, we were forced to spend a lot of time determining the best model for our company moving forward. We have not only had success despite these challenges, but also seen our business activity increase significantly to the point where today we are operating at an extremely high level and adding more staff while extending our expertise in growing areas such as podcasting, FAST and AI. This new structure will allow me to concentrate on strategic issues, including our TLG Connect consulting practice, while placing everyday business activities in very capable hands.”

The three newly promoted managing directors will also work closely with longtime senior executives, all of whom have been with Lippin for 15 years or more. This veteran roster include Jim Benson (president, corporate communications, west coast), Pam Golum (president, global entertainment), Debbie Lawrence (managing director of the company’s London office), Jeanne O’Keefe (SVP), Jennifer Price (president, television and events), Shelly Saarela (CFO) and Alex Uliantzeff (SVP).

Biscuiti joined Lippin in 2004 and has handled corporate communications for a range of clients, from tech start-ups to established entertainment and media companies in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to Lippin, he worked at GolinHarris, TSI Communications and Mindstorm.

Fuchs started at Lippin in 2011 and has set and implemented consumer public relations strategies for U.S. and international entertainment companies. She created and leads Lippin’s podcast and audio division and plays a key role in supporting clients’ productions and events.

Broderick also joined Lippin in 2011. He has specialized in strategic communications for clients across streaming video, podcasting, technology, industry associations, festivals and conferences. He is also part of the company’s TLG Connect practice, focused on consulting with global companies outside of the traditional entertainment and media industries about their Hollywood-facing business strategies.
