Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr.'s romance has "fizzled out."

In April 2024, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple had split after less than a year of dating.

The SKIMS founder and the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver were first seen at the same function when they both attended Fanatics CEO Michael Rubins’ July 4th party in 2023. While they never publicly confirmed their relationship, sources told PEOPLE that the two started “hanging out” as early as September 2023.

Kardashian was previously married to Kanye West before their split in 2021. The former couple share four children together: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Beckham is also a father to his son Zydn, whom he welcomed with his ex-girlfriend Lauren Wood in 2022.

This isn't the first time Kardashian has been connected to an NFL player. In 2007, she dated then-New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush, which was documented on the first season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. However, the two broke up in 2010 due to their demanding schedules.

July 4, 2023: Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. attend Michael Rubin’s Independence Day party

Though the two were not romantically linked at the time, they did both attend Rubin’s annual white party on Independence Day. Following the event, there was speculation that Kardashian was interested in a different football icon — Tom Brady — though Rubin put the rumors to rest.

"Honestly, they're just friends," Rubin told Entertainment Tonight a couple of weeks later, calling the stories “crazy rumors.”

September 19, 2023: A source tells PEOPLE Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. are "hanging out"

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that Kardashian and Beckham had made a connection and “are hanging out.” The news came at the same time as it was confirmed Beckham and Wood had broken up earlier that year.

Another source told PEOPLE that “[Beckham] always had a thing for [Kardashian], but the timing just never aligned.”

Reps for neither Kardashian nor Beckham responded to requests for comment at the time.

November 8, 2023: Kim Kardashian attends Odell Beckham Jr.’s birthday party

A couple of months later, Kardashian made an appearance at Beckham’s 31st birthday party. While her night started out at the CFDA Fashion Awards, Kardashian and her friend La La Anthony made their way to Beckham’s party after a quick outfit change.

The '90s-themed birthday celebration was held at WSA in New York and Beckham pulled up in style, showing off his tattooed chest by leaving his jacket unbuttoned. The party was also attended by Lori Harvey, James Harden, Saquon Barkley, Rubin, Ashley Graham, Emily Ratajkowski, Winnie Harlow, Lil Baby, Emma Chamberlain, Luka Sabbat and PJ Tucker.

“It was a very fun party with a lot of fun people,” a source told PEOPLE.

February 2, 2024: Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. attend the same Grammy Awards party

Ahead of the Grammy Awards, Jay-Z held a party at The Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles. TMZ reported that both Kardashian and Beckham attended the party, though they arrived separately and weren’t photographed together.

February 7, 2024: A source confirms to PEOPLE that Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. are still seeing each other

Months after their last spotting, a source told PEOPLE that The Kardashians star and the NFL pro are “still hanging out, but it’s pretty casual.”

“Neither of them are in any big hurry to jump into something serious,” the insider added.

February 11, 2024: Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. attend the same Super Bowl party

The beauty mogul and football player were once again linked when they both attended Rubin's Fanatics Super Bowl party at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas ahead of the big game.

"There wasn't any PDA, but they definitely seemed together," a source told PEOPLE.

"They were hanging out in a bigger group with Khloé [Kardashian], Kendall [Jenner], Justin [Bieber], Hailey [Bieber] and some other friends, having a great time," they added. Others in attendance at the event included La La Anthony, Ice Spice, Nina Dobrev and Winnie Harlow.

Kardashian and Beckham Jr. were then spotted at The Wynn shortly after.

March 10, 2024: Kim Kardashian is spotted with Odell Beckham Jr. at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Kardashian and Beckham Jr. were spotted "hanging out pretty much all night," at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty, according to a source.

"There wasn't a ton of PDA like some of the other couples, but there was a lot of touching, and they were right near each other the entire time," the insider told PEOPLE. "They were careful about not being too all over each other, but there was lots of chemistry, and they left together."

April 30, 2024: Source says Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. are "over"

After less than a year of dating, Kardashian and Beckham Jr. decided to go their separate ways. "It’s over and just fizzled out," a source told PEOPLE.
