Concern growing for welfare of Glasgow man who vanished two days ago

Concern is growing for the welfare of a 62-year-old man who vanished from the Drumchapel area of the city two days ago.

William Hurst was last seen on Ledmore Drive at around 10.20pm on Saturday, April 20. Officers are asking anyone who can assist with their search for the missing man to get in touch.

The 62-year-old is described as being 5ft 4ins in height, of average build with greying black hair. He was last seen wearing a black parka jacket, dark trousers and black Adidas trainers.

Detective Inspector Daniel Clark said: “We would appeal for anyone who is aware of William’s whereabouts, or has any information, to please call police.

“We are also reaching out to William himself to get in touch and let us know he is safe and well.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0956 of 21 April, 2024.”
