There are five more bank holidays for people across England and Wales to enjoy this year.

Understanding the schedule of bank holidays in the UK can help you strategically plan your time off. When a bank holiday falls on a weekend, a substitute weekday typically follows, usually the subsequent Monday.

It's worth noting that employers aren't obligated to provide paid leave on bank or public holidays, and these holidays can also impact the timing and distribution of your benefits.
