Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler on his return to UFC in June, Dan White has confirmed.
‘The Notorious’ has not entered the octagon since breaking his left leg during a TKO defeat to Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
A meeting with long-running rival Michael Chandler was mooted last year after the two coached opposite teams in season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter.
White confirmed his comeback during UFC 300 in April.

Michael Chandler, who has not fought since November 2022, is confirmed to be McGregor’s next opponent.

“The man doesn’t shut up. I seen him on [WWE] Raw.
“I like Mike, [but] I’m going to bust him up. I’m going to bust Mike up, yeah? If I say it, I do it. If I say it, it gets done. End of. Put that on my [grave]stone.”
McGregor has also raised the possibility of facing Poirier or Nate Diaz again.
