Constance Marten: Police attend crime scene after body found in search for missing baby

Police are continuing to investigate a crime scene today (2 March) after a body was found in the search for Constance Marten and Mark Gordon's missing baby.

Officers confirmed on Wednesday evening that remains had been discovered in their search.

The runaway aristocrat and her boyfriend disappeared in January.

They travelled around the country by taxi, avoiding police by paying for everything in cash, covering their faces, and moving around frequently.

Ms Marten gave birth to the baby on 5 January.

The pair have been arrested and held on suspicion of child neglect and gross negligence manslaughter.
