Yahoo News Converse unveils new Twisted Resort collection featuring colourful desert landscapes
If you’re anything like us and the past few months have been filled with nothing but loungewear, Netflix and boredom, this latest drop from Converse is here to nurse your lockdown blues.
Just as life seems to be returning to a new sense of normal, the American shoe brand is taking us to another world altogether with its Twister Resort collection.
It is made up of three shoes; the souped-up Run Star Hike silhouette complete with tracked and oversized soles and low and hi top variants of the classic Chuck 70. But these trainers are anything but basic. They are all adorned with varying desert scenes, cacti graphics and all. Let the conspiracy theories run wild, alien cowboys, cattle abductions, spaceships and UFOs take centre stage in eye-popping, bright hues.
You may not be heading to any festivals this summer but these trainers will bring Burning Man to you with an extra-terrestrial twist.
The shoes launch on July 9 at Converse for £75 to £100.
