Cops ask missing Scots teen to let them know 'he's okay' after search launched

Police are appealing for a missing East Lothian teenager to let them know 'he's okay' after an urgent search was launched.

CJ Johnstone, 15, from Ormiston, was last seen at around 2.30pm on Sunday, May 5 in the Clark Buildings area of the village.

CJ is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, with short brown hair which is long on top. When last seen he was wearing a grey and black hoodie, black trousers, and black and white Vans trainers. CJ is also known to frequent the St James’ Quarter and Waverly areas of Edinburgh.

Sergeant Ross Falconer, of Musselburgh Police Station, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for CJ’s welfare and just want to make sure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has seen CJ or knows where he is to get in touch.

“Likewise, if CJ sees or hears about this appeal please call us or your family to let us know you are ok.”
