A cordon is in place at a derelict property after a police raid due to suspicious activity.

A large police presence was seen in a North Walsham industrial estate this morning, with up to seven police cars spotted in the area.

Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that officers attended the Laundry Loke building at 5.10am after receiving reports of suspicious activity.

Police said 10 people with Indian nationality were found at the property and taken to a reception centre to attend to their welfare as the circumstances are investigated.

The cordon will remain in place while investigations continue.
