Who is heading back to the cobbles for another stint?
As the world's longest-running soap, Coronation Street is a dream job for many an actor.
The ITV soap has created some iconic characters over the years, so it's no surprise that so many of the show's former stars are keen to come back for another stint on the cobbles.
Who is rumoured to be returning in the coming months? We take a look at the familiar faces paying another visit to Weatherfield.

Will Mellor | Harvey Gaskell
One of the street's biggest villains in recent memory has been confirmed for an unwelcome return.
Killer and all-round criminal Harvey Gaskell was last seen on the cobbles a year ago for a horrifying Halloween where he broke out of prison and set out for revenge on Leanne Battersby.
But Harvey actually took aim at Natasha Blakeman, who was wearing an identical Halloween costume, and shot her dead.
Actor Will Mellor has had a busy time since leaving the soap, taking part in last year's Strictly Come Dancing and the show's live tour.
Now, Corrie boss Iain MacLeod has confirmed that Harvey will be darkening the doors of Weatherfield again, and it's linked to the return of his half-brother Damon...
Ciaran Griffiths | Damon Hay
The other big returner news is that Damon Hay, of Sarah Barlow and Damon's affair, is on his way back to disrupt Adam Barlow's life once more.
MacLeod has confirmed that the drama will kick off in the new year, when Damon comes back to try to reignite his relationship with Sarah and get revenge on old enemy Adam.
In the meantime, Sarah and Adam have been trying to co-parent together, but Adam will be riled by Damon's reappearance and will pay a visit to his rival's half-brother Harvey - also not a fan of Damon - to try to get rid of him.
Just how sinister will the plot get?
Jennie McAlpine | Fiz Dobbs
She's one of the soap's biggest stars and Corrie without Fiz is unthinkable to the show's fans - so it will come as welcome news that actor Jennie McAlpine is only temporarily away from Weatherfield.
McAlpine is currently on maternity leave, but is expected back very soon with her character Fiz's absence explained by a job opportunity in Norwick.
In recent episodes, Fiz's husband Tyrone was criticised by other characters for not telling her that he had moved his mother Cassie Plummer into the family home, and promised that he would let Fiz know.
Could she be back to put the family home back in order soon?
Lucy Fallon | Bethany Platt
Corrie is known for launching some stellar careers and Lucy Fallon was a huge star for her portrayal of troubled Bethany Platt, who was caught up in a grooming nightmare.
Fallon swept up at every awards ceremony going, but quit the soap in 2020 as her character apparently took up a new job in London.
The character was rumoured to be making a return, and now Fallon has been spotted filming for the soap, leaving fans eager to see what could have tempted Bethany to return to the scene of her traumatic past.
Amy Robbins | Christina Boyd
Daisy Midgeley's mum is thought to be headed back to the cobbles, although it remains to be seen what her storyline will involve.
Actor Amy Robbins - who is Emily Atack's aunt - is said to have been spotted filming at the Corrie set over the summer and sources say she is returning for an episode, but could pop in and out regularly.
Fans will know what a rough time Daisy has been having - will Christina's return be a help, or could she make things even worse?
