Coronation Street delves into Jan Lozinski's past tonight (July 15) as Eileen Grimshaw realises that her new boyfriend has something to hide.

Just as Eileen (Sue Cleaver) is enjoying being in the early stages of a new relationship with her lodger, she's curious to spot a possible connection between him and local lawyer Paula Martin.

When Jan and Paula (Stirling Gallacher) cross paths on the street, it's clear that they may already know each other – which doesn't go unnoticed by Eileen.

Jan is quick to deny this and when Eileen later quizzes Paula at The Rovers, she also insists that it's not true.

After Eileen confides in her best friend Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) about the strange situation, Liz decides to put Jan's name into a search engine.

Sure enough, Liz makes a shocking discovery about Jan and quickly passes the worrying information onto Eileen.

Having provided the tip-off, Liz makes herself scarce so that Eileen can deal with the situation in her own way.

Over dinner, Eileen pretends everything is fine – before suddenly confronting Jan and leaving him dumbfounded.

How will Jan explain Liz's discovery and could it lead to the end of his relationship with Eileen already?

Piotr Baumann has been playing Jan since March and the show has often hinted that the builder isn't all he seems.

Jan has a secret link with Seb Franklin's love interest Alina Pop, while Corrie has also confirmed his possible involvement in the young couple's upcoming modern slavery storyline.

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
