Coronation Street fans ask 'how' as Jack P Shepherd shares new holiday snap

Fans of Coronation Street have been left asking 'how' in response to Corrie star Jack P Shephard's latest Instagram post. The David Platt actor has shared a fresh update from his lengthy break away from the UK with his partner Hanni Treweek.

The 36-year-old actor, who joined the ITV soap back in 2000, has swapped the cobbles for a tropical holiday with his girlfriend. Earlier this week the pair appeared to be on the trip of a lifetime in Tanzania. He shared photos from a safari trip, updating his fans and followers with the animals they had spotted along the way.

Taking to Instagram, one post from Jack showed a pack of lions enjoying a very bloody meal while there were also clips of Hanni filming the wild animals. A previous update also saw the soap star sharing the journey into the wilderness areas of the East African country by jeep with the road completely overtaken by wild animals.

Jack and Hanni have since moved on to Zanzibar where they have been soaking up the sun. In his latest post shared with his 395,000 followers on Friday (June 14), the couple were out at sea on a boat watching the sunset as Jack captioned: "Sunsets in Zanzibar."

The actor looked content as he sat smiling on the boat, whilst another snap showed his stunning girlfriend looking out to sea. The pair then shared a photo locking lips.

But fans were quick to take to the comments section to address Jack's golden tan, as they asked pondered over how he'll get away with it when he returns to the soap to play David Platt.

@mrstoffifee wrote: "How are you going to explain that tan in Weatherfield?," to which @nzmichellem replied "he's always tan," and @vanydirenzo joked: "David has been on the sunbeds."

@originalbajanghal also questioned: "How are you going to explain your tan when back on our screens," as @bensher501 added: "David will look very tanned from the Weatherfield sun."

But other followers were full of compliments for Jack, with @liamdoc99 saying: "Amazing pictures Jack, enjoy every moment," fellow Corrie actor @sally_carman adding: "Gorgeous," and @alantoner said: "Class!! Enjoy."

@ginofan702 wrote: "Awesome photos & memories Jack," as another fan @urthvox said: "That sea water looks amazing, well jealous," and another @loochmindreader added: "Looks incredible mate."
