So when Stephen calls at the garage shouting the odds about a problem with his car that should have been fixed, Kev snaps and ends up smashing up the vehicle with a wrench.
By Friday, Kevin’s rage looks to have got him into trouble, with Abi’s homecoming wrecked by the arrival of two police officers at the door of No 13. Can Kevin keep news of his tantrum from reaching Abi’s ears?
Concern for Audrey’s health
Before she leaves hospital, Audrey is quizzed by the psychiatry liaison officer about why she took so many sleeping pills. And Sarah is also concerned when she learns from Ed that he saw Audrey at the hospital.
Once back home, an apologetic Audrey tells Nick she’s sorry for messing the family around, but that she really doesn’t want to reopen the salon.
Debbie’s money worries mount
Debbie is finding it tough coming up with the money for Ed, so Ronnie comes up with a solution: themed nights at the Bistro. But Leanne can’t help but be disapproving when Debs starts putting up posters advertising Psychic Night and Casino Night.
As Leanne voices her concern that vulnerable people will be conned out of their hard-earned cash, Debbie secretly confides in Ronnie that she’d otherwise be left with two options: bankruptcy or an insurance job.
And when Debbie later hears Ryan telling the psychic that he’s skint and is loaded down with debt, she hatches a plan…
Summer has a surprise admission for Aaron
Summer’s plans have altered: she’s now rejected the idea of university and wants a job instead. And her first port of call? The factory, where she soon lands the job of PA.
But the likes of Beth don’t give Summer an easy ride on her first day. And a further worry comes in the form of Aaron, who arrives home in a bruised state, saying that he was jumped on by some lads.
By Friday, though, Aaron will be seen making a move on Summer, only to be pushed away and ordered to leave. And during a subsequent meet-up in Victoria Garden, Summer admits that although she really likes Aaron, she can’t bear the thought of him seeing her naked body. What will his reaction be?
Who is messaging Hope?
Phill has finally signed the annulment and, after over the paperwork, the Stape-Dobbs clan enjoy a celebratory meal.
However, after returning home, Hope opens her tablet to find a string of messages from a gamer going by the name of Mad Dog. Using their walkie-talkies, Hope and Sam then discuss this mystery player – with Sam reckoning that Mad Dog must fancy her.
Stu reaches out to his daughter
Stu is initially hostile towards Yasmeen after he discovers that she’s found Bridget’s address. But after receiving some wise counsel from Kelly, Stu decides to reach out and make contact.
But the overture doesn’t go down well and a panicked Bridget orders Stu to leave, despite him assuring her that he “never hurt anyone”. Once back on the Street, Stu apologises to Yasmeen for snapping and then claims it was the wrong address – but what is he hiding?
