Next week on Coronation Street: Leanne starts dealing drugs, plus Alina makes a move on Tyrone (spoilers)
A paternity wrangle begins for the Baileys, while Leanne becomes a reluctant drug dealer and Asha makes a big confession. It’s your big preview of all next week’s Coronation Street drama for 15-19 March, 2021.
Leanne deals with the devil
Drugs lord Harvey needs paying off, but Leanne can only raise £1000. Yet when she tries to tell Horrible Harv that this is all the cash she's able to come up with, he shows no mercy and demands the rest of the money or he’ll put her and Si in hospital.
Once home, Leanne makes out to Simon that all is fine. But in her handbag is a secret stash of drugs that Harvey has ordered she drop off to a client.

So, instead of protecting her son, Leanne has now become complicit in his crimes. And with that debt to settle, it doesn’t look as though she’ll be able to extricate herself anytime soon.
Asha confesses
On the topic of illegal pills, we also get Imran urging Kelly to tell him where she got the drugs that have landed her in hospital.
But the legal eagle needs to be searching closer to home, what with Asha confessing to her dad that it was her idea to buy them, as she wanted to forget who she was for a few hours. Will Dev understand the depths of her despair?
Who’s the daddy?
When Ronnie Bailey turned up, I wrote half-jokingly that it’d only be a matter of time before he’d claim one of Ed’s kids as his own. Well, what do you know? Mere weeks after making that prediction, Ronnie is now admitting to having had a relationship with Aggie before Ed met her and therefore believes Michael could be his son.

The trouble is that Ronnie voices his suspicions slap bang in the middle of a boisterous week for the Baileys. First Ronnie’s estranged wife Kat arrives, then pregnant Grace is the victim of racial profiling at the supermarket, where she ends up suddenly experiencing contractions.
As Grace gives birth to a baby girl, Ed can’t help but worry that proud dad Michael is about to have his world rocked.
Bad omen for the bride
I don’t know why anyone bothers trying to get married in soapland. Nuptials are usually the scenes of big bust-ups, while preparations for the main event are always rife with mishaps.
This time, it’s bride-to-be Abi who’s having an absolute nightmare thanks to a wedding-dress disaster. As she rows with Debbie during a session trying on frocks, a gown worth £5000 ends up getting stained with beetroot. And things then go from bad to worse when, at Tracy’s suggestion, Abi chucks a glass of prosecco over the spoiled fabric – an act that only ends up making the blotch bigger.
Temptation for Tyrone
Someone else with marriage on their minds is Fiz, who’s planning a secret wedding for her and Tyrone in Greece. But she’d be doing more than just smashing plates if she knew just how close he was getting to Alina.
There’s a definite air of an early mid-life crisis about the way Ty is becoming pre-occupied with Ms Pop. And those feelings are now set to strengthen after our conflicted mechanic realises that Alina also knows her way around a car engine.
With this in mind, I think we can predict how Ty will react when she confesses that she’s fallen for him. I mean, who needs jump leads when two people are generating sparks of this nature?
