Nina is in big trouble

Roy then arrives at the woods, only to drop his thermos in the river. And when Asha, Brian and Nina turn up at the scene, they find the flask floating in the water and are left worried. Nina then makes her way down the bank, slips and bangs her head before rolling into the river.
Asha watches on in panic as Brian drags Nina’s limp body from the river. And with an ambulance having been called, it looks as though she is in need of urgent medical attention. Will Nina pull through?
Spider is lured into a trap
One of Max’s far-right propaganda videos is watched by Lily, who shows the footage to Eliza before promising to send her a link. But when Stu gets hold of Eliza’s laptop, he ends up showing the footage to a distressed David and Shona.
Max, meanwhile, is getting further embroiled. On Wednesday, we see Spider getting a call from Max asking to meet him urgently, but when he turns up for the rendezvous, he’s met not by Max but Griff, who knocks him out cold with a crowbar.
As we soon discover, Griff has plans for the rebranded Peace Market that’s been organised by Maria. When Lauren receives a call from her Dad warning her to stay away from the event, a worried Max reckons they should call the police and warn people. But will they be in time?
Stephen panics as Teddy wakes up
Stephen’s worries mount when Teddy opens his eyes in hospital. But it soon becomes clear that there are gaps in Teddy’s memory, which Jenny assures him will one day return.
Jenny’s next move is to invite Teddy to move in while he recuperates – an act of kindness that leaves Stephen quietly horrified. And he’ll be seen on Friday looking the picture of despair as Jenny returns from the hospital with Teddy in tow and helps him into the pub.
Jacob’s new job
Jacob likes the sound of the job offer he receives from dad Damon: full-time work at the Bistro on double the money he’s getting at the factory. Jacob’s next move is to hand in his notice to Carla, but she warns him that he’s making a mistake.
And when Jacob is subsequently asked by Damon to take delivery of a package, he starts to see what Carla means…
Mike and Esther are keeping secrets from Summer
Over at Mike and Esther’s house, a horrified Summer answers the door to bailiffs, who swoop in and start gathering up the homeowners’ things. When Mike and Esther later return home, Summer demands to know what’s going on.
Following this upsetting event, Todd confides in Paul that he’s not convinced Mike and Esther are the upstanding Christian couple they make themselves out to be and intends to do some digging. What will his search turn up?
Gemma’s school protest
Joseph gets into trouble at school for using sign language, and when Gemma and Bernie confront his teacher Mrs York, she’s dismissive of the youngster’s BSL skills.
Gemma and Bernie then decide to stage a sit-in as they demand that the school teaches BSL to all their pupils. News of the protest soon reaches the Street, where the residents start tuning in to Gemma’s live stream. And Michael also finds himself caught up in events when he calls in to discuss Glory’s start date at nursery.
Mrs York, though, isn’t for turning – and ends up locking the classroom door behind them, commenting that they can stay there all night!
