Coronation Street reveals Denny's plot as Paul is hospitalised
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has revealed that villain Denny plans to steal from his son Paul following his hospitalisation.
Denny reappeared earlier this week pretending he wanted to make up for lost time with son Paul, only to threaten Bernie with a dark secret if she got in his way.
Friday's (May 3) episode saw Bernie considering opening up to Dev about her fears that Denny would reveal secrets from her past.
He would eventually find Bernie rifling through an old box of photos, but her caginess over the whole matter left him suspicious.

Meanwhile, Billy was equally sceptical about Paul letting his father back into his life, since Denny had physically abused Paul as a child.
Paul disregarded his husband and family's reservations by inviting Denny to come watch a film. This turned out to be a major mistake as Denny soon went out to get ice cream, leaving Paul all alone.
Denny bumped into Gemma on the Street and they argued about their own estrangement, while Paul started to have a coughing fit as he remained all alone.
Paul tried to call for an ambulance but passed out before he could speak to the operator. Denny would arrive back at the flat to find Paul barely conscious.
Billy was horrified to find Paul being loaded into an ambulance a short time later. Denny admitted he'd left Paul alone and stunned Billy by saying he didn't have time to join them at the hospital.
Gemma stood up for her brother, insisting Denny would be coming to the hospital with them whether he liked or not since he'd been irresponsible enough to leave Paul alone.
At the hospital, Billy shared with Denny and Gemma that Paul had been diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia.
Denny's true colours showed once again as he wrongly blamed Bernie for Paul getting MND, claiming she'd abused drugs before their son was born.
"If you're going to upset mum, I won't have it," Paul struggled to tell his dad.
After being ordered to leave Paul's bedside, Denny snuck off to make a secret phone call arranging to sell Paul's specially-made wheelchair.
"I can get it to your tomorrow, 100%," he told his dodgy contact.
Will Denny get away with his heist?
