On Coronation Street next week Abi’s big crisis is revealed, plus Nicky is back in town, Gary is haunted by his past, while Adam quits his job.

Abi is in danger
Abi’s life goes into freefall when her no-good pal Dean steals the keys to the garage and swipes a car. Abi’s efforts to stop the theft backfire when she ends up in the passenger seat of the car, which Dean is driving at speed down a country road.
When a pregnant Abi then doubles over in pain, Dean stops the vehicle. But as she crouches by the side of the road in pain, Dean abandons her and drives away. And as Abi shakily calls for an ambulance, her phone dies.

Thankfully, Abi makes it through this ordeal and ends up confronting Dean later in the week as she tries to retrieve the stolen car. But events conspire against her and she ends up getting involved in a terrifying accident.
Adam fights to clear his name
Adam is on the ropes thanks to Lydia’s scheming and when a client announces that he’s taking his business elsewhere after reading some negative online reviews, Imran too grows concerned.
The pressure on Adam mounts further when he then discovers he’s been reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and could be struck off. Fearing for the future, he tells Imran that he’s going to step down while he clears his name. But Lydia has other plans: she isn’t done with Adam yet!
Gary is haunted by his killer past
Gary and Maria find out that Kelly has been secretly caring for her mum and end up inviting Laura to move in so they can help. But Gary will start to feel very hot under the collar when Laura announces that she’s going to hire a PI to track down Rick so that Kelly can be financially provided for.
And by Friday, the possibility of Rick’s fate being discovered is starting to seem more likely when the private investigator learns that Gary was the last person to see Rick alive…
Nicky returns for Daniel
We have a Weatherfield returnee this week when Nicky resurfaces and approaches Daisy, explaining that she’s looking for Daniel. The trouble is, an unnerved Daisy lies and makes out that Daniel has moved down south. And there’s further subterfuge from the Rovers barmaid when she later deletes a voicemail message that Nicky has sent to Daniel’s phone.
However, on Friday, Nicky finds her man at school and reveals that she’s after a teaching assistant role. Daniel’s delighted and agrees to meet up for a drink – but what will happen when Nicky comes face to face with Daisy again?
Sam’s endgame
Sam has fallen behind with his schoolwork and Nick believes his chess obsession is to blame. Nick then puts his foot down and tells his son that he’s not to play for a while.
But Leanne is to go behind Nick’s back when she comes to the conclusion that chess is good for Sam’s mental wellbeing and informs Roy she’d like for him to resume his lessons.
Michael tries to find Grace
Michael grows determined to find Grace as he feels that Glory needs a mum in her life. But as he scours the internet, Ed warns that some things are best left alone.
Yet with Michael remaining adamant, all Ed and Aggie can do is hope that Grace sticks to the deal and stays away.
