Many members of the Coronation Street cast have reacted as Abi Webster star Sally Carman has left the UK behind, along with her famous husband.

Sally, 43, first appeared on the cobbles back in 2017, and since then Abi has been at the heart of many of the hit ITV show's most dramatic storylines. She has fought drug addiction, and tragically lost her son, Seb, who was killed in a ruthless hate attack in 2021.

Away from the cameras, Sally's life is thankfully a lot less turbulent. She is happily married to co-star Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe on the show.

The loved-up pair have this week ditched the UK in favour of Ibiza, and on Monday Sally shared a number of photos from the idyllic location. The Instagram update included a number of selfies, as well as a shot of Sally reading a book, while wearing a red swimsuit.

Sally captioned the post: "What an island! Beautiful stay at @cangallibiza leopard print trousers @moobou sandals @thisiswhistles earrings @zara dress @joules and all other clothes either @zara or @mango #ibiza #weekendaway #beach #doubleduponphotosbecauseimrubbishatinstagram".

Many of her and Joe's co-stars have been quick to react in the comments section, as Sally Dynevor, who plays Joe's on-screen wife Sally, said: "Wow, beautiful", while Cassie Plummer actress Claire Sweeney simply posted a series of red heart emojis.

Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, said: "Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous" and DS Swain star Vicky Myers said: "Goddess!" Meanwhile Steve McDonald star Simon Gregson just wrote: "Sandals".
