Yahoo News Coronation Street's Alan Halsall 'so proud' of soap as he emotionally says 'I love her with all my heart'
Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has said he's 'so proud' to work on the show as he emotionally shared his love for his daughter after she joined him on the famous set. The actor was among the ITV soap's stars enjoying a 'wellbeing day' on Sunday (May 12).
Cast members and other members of the programme's vast team were able to bring their nearest and dearest along to the iconic set where they appeared to enjoy a fun day on the iconic cobbles with picture opportunities aplenty.
It meant that Alan was able to take his daughter Sienna along to his usual stomping ground as the sun glistened over the Salford-based set. Sharing a picture of himself and Sienna to his Instagram Story as they posed outside Tyrone's place of work, Webster's Autocentre, Alan said: "Corrie fun day," before adding a GIF which read: "I love my daughter".

A second picture showed Alan and Sienna, whose mum is former Coronation Street and Hollyoaks star and Alan's ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, outside Alan's fictional home. "Take your daughter to work day," he added as he and Sienna beamed for the camera.
But Alan has since shared a string of snaps from the special day on his main Instagram grid as he gushed over the daughter and his workplace. "There is so much love and pride in these pictures," he started the caption of his sweet post.
"My Beautiful daughter makes me proud every single day and I love her with all my heart and also I’m so proud to be part of Coronation Street surrounded by brilliantly talented people, both in front of and behind the camera on a daily basis.
I love my job!! #blessed."
