Amy Barlow and Aadi Alahan have made a sad decision about their relationship in Coronation Street.

The two are bonded more than ever before now that they are the subject of a police investigation due to Amy's revenge plot against drink spiker Dan last week.

Amy was planning to take revenge against Dan for trying to spike her drink by tying him up at an industrial estate before Aadi convinced her she'd gone too far.

While the pair rushed Dan to A&E, they were soon told he'd overdosed on GHB and were warned by DS Swain that they'd have questions to answer.

In Monday's (November 20) episode, the reality of what she'd done came crashing down on Amy when she was called in by DS Swain for a police interrogation.

When DS Swain revealed that Dan had woken up and was alleging Amy had drugged him, she asked to speak with her lawyer.

Amy eventually confided in solicitor Dee-Dee Bailey that she'd used Dan's own drugs to knock him out, but had taken him to A&E before doing anything else.

DS Swain initially tried to play hardball with a threat of prison time, she eventually announced that Amy would be released without charge at this time.

Back on the cobbles, Amy thanked Aadi for standing by her throughout it all, leading to a romantic moment where they shared a kiss.

However, when Steve and Tracy walked in on the pair, Amy panicked and demanded Aadi take his hands off her. Aadi was horrified by Amy's reaction and apologised profusely, before leaving.

Amy later admitted to Nina that she's worried she's put Aadi off with her reaction to the kiss, but was encouraged by her friend to tell Aadi how she really feels.

At the same time, Aadi was getting advice from his father Dev that it may be best to give Amy some space because she may not be ready for a relationship.

Once the two friends met up again, Amy reluctantly agreed when Aadi suggested it's best for the two of them to stay friends right now.
