Coronation Street star Lisa George has told fans to 'watch out' as she and her co-star prepare for an exciting adventure. Fans of the ITV soap best know the actress for playing Beth Sutherland - nee Tinker.

Beth first appeared on the cobbles in 2011 when Steve McDonald delved into his little black book and gave Beth a call when he was after a date to make his wife Becky jealous. Then, the following year, Steve again used her when he moved Beth and her son Craig into No.13 to wind up his new wife Tracy Barlow.

But the rest, as they say, is history and Lisa has been portraying Beth in Wetherfield ever since. However, it wasn't the actress' first stint on a soap as she's appeared in Emmerdale as well as Holby City.

And after 13 years on the cobbles, Lisa will have some stories to tell when she heads to Canada to meet fans of the show. The ITV soap has a huge following, to the extent cast members fly 4,000 miles to host meet-and-greets, and Canadian fans travel to the UK in a pilgrimage to the set at MediaCityUK in Trafford.

The next cast members to head over are set to be Lisa and Mollie Gallagher, who plays Weatherfield's very own Nina Lucas. Sharing a poster advertising the event, described as 'Beth and Nina's girls night out', for June on Instagram, Lisa said: "So looking forward to my 3rd visit to #canada to meet all the fans!!"

The soap star continued: "I loved every minute of those tours and I’m so excited to be doing it again!- so watch out #canada - ontario #novascotia #newfoundland @mollie.gallagher_ and I are coming to get ya!!!

"Telling all about what happens behind the scenes … see you in July!!! #touring #corrie @hellocanadamag - all under the fabulous leadership of @andrew_at_strollpro.ca and the multitalented @barnardwrites who I cannot wait to reconnect with x #canadianfans #canadiancorriefans #corriecanada #explorecanada #canadatour #canadatrip."

While it led to many demands for the pair to visit other places in Canada and the US, others were quick to share their joy at the news and well wishes for the trip.
