Coronation Street's Bruno Langley in sex probe as woman accuses him of 'inappropriate' behaviour
Bruno Langley is being probed by ITV after a woman complained to Coronation Street bosses about the actor’s “inappropriate” behaviour after they met in a Manchester bar, it has been reported.
The 34-year-old father-of-one vehemently denies the woman’s claims and is said to be devastated by the allegations.
ITV have launched an internal investigation after the woman filed the complaint the day after the alleged incident occurred, with Bruno last being seen filming on the Coronation Street set a week ago.
It has not been confirmed whether producers have asked the star, who plays Todd Grimshaw in the soap, to stay away from the set.
Speaking to The Sun, a source shared: “He is very upset. This is devastating for him. A complaint has been received and is being taken very seriously.
“Bruno has been asked to give an account of what happened and that is being checked against the woman’s statement.
“He doesn’t even know what she is alleging beyond inappropriate conduct.”
The insider went on to reveal that the police are not currently involved and the cast and crew have also been kept in the dark about the allegations.
Bruno split from Victoria Roscoe, the mother of his 10-year-old son, in 2013 and last year he admitted that he has struggled to find love since the break up.
Speaking on Loose Women, he said at the time: “There’s been a few times when I’ve seen a really nice girl, not said anything and always regretted it.
“These days I always go up and try to be a gentleman.”
