Yahoo News Coronation Street's Channique Sterling-Brown declares love for co-star in sweet message alongside Doctor Who star
Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown wasn't the only one sharing the love for one of her co-stars as she celebrated a special day. The actress, known for playing Dee-Dee Bailey in the ITV soap, was among those publically sharing their messages to Tanisha Gorey.
On Sunday (June 9), Tanisha, who fans will known for playing Corrie's Asha Alahan, was celebrating her 23rd birthday and her friends and co-stars were among those flocking to social media to share their birthday wishes with her.
Taking to her own Instagram Story, Channnique shared a number of snaps of Tanisha and of the two together, with one showing the pair attempting to keep warm on the famous cobbles set and another seeing the birthday girl beaming in a paramedic jacket as her character.

Alongside the collage of images, Channique said: "Happiest of birthdays to my girl. Thank you for everything you are," before adding: "Love love love you."
But it wasn't just Channique as her on-screen brother Adam Hussain said: "Happy birthday sis," alongside a selife of the pair while Lucy Fallon shared a glam snap from a night out of the pair alongside Channique and Tina O'Brien and said: "Happy birthday to the ultimate queen of slaying the day and slaying Disney."
And former Corrie star and current Doctor Who companion Millie Gibson also didn't forget to mention her bestie on her birthday and said alongside a snap of the pair on her Instagram Story: "Happiest of birthday to this special lady @tanisha.gorey," which Tanisha reshared with a number of face holding back tears emojis.
Meanwhile, it comes after Tanisha shared a number of sweet pictures from her recent break with her rarely-seen boyfriend after her own selfie seemingly left her co-star emotional.
Back in April, the actress ditched the UK - and the cobbles of Weatherfield - for a very special location that is often described as the most magical place on earth. Tanisha revealed she was taking a holiday away from the Salford-based set with her partner, Lucas Whelan.
While he doesn't often feature on her social media as they keep their relationship out of the spotlight, Tanisha first went public with her relationship with Lucas on her 18th birthday. The two were then flooded with support when they revealed they had bought their first home together back in 2022.
But weeks on from their adventure across the pond, and at the end of last week, Tanisha has shared some more pictures of their break with Lucas featuring heavily in the printed snaps she had developed after taking a disposable camera with her to DisneyWorld. Alongside a video of all the sweet photos laid out, Tanisha said: "Got some of our Disney world piccys too," alongside faces holding back tears emojis.
