Yahoo News Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney ditches UK and cuddles up to son after 'finding it really hard'
Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has been flooded with messages as she melted fans' hearts with sweet pictures of herself and her son enjoying a sun-soaked break away from the UK.
The actress, her son Jaxon and her mum Kathleen jetted off to Majorca where they have been seen enjoying some quality time together in the sun with Claire sharing some updates on social media.
In an earlier post to her Instagram page, the 53-year-old could be seen beaming alongside Jaxon and Kathleen as they enjoyed a few drinks while Jaxon could also be seen with his eyes covered by his cool shades as he soaked up the fun with his mum, grandmother and a frozen mocktail.

Doting mum Claire has since returned to social media with a video compilation of images in which she and Jaxon could be seen posing for the camera and enjoying a bunch of sweet kisses and cuddles.
While she didn't caption the post, Claire, who is currently playing Cassie Plummer in ITV's Corrie, added the Stevie Wonder track 'My Cherie Amour' to the video. And her new beau Ricky Hatton was among the first to respond to the post, simply sharing a string of kisses.
And Claire's fans and followers were also quick to respond to the adorable posts. @chaz.zy933 said: "So sweet. He's getting so grown up now." @grovergoodall commented: "You two are just the cutest." @penny.collier.737 wrote: "Jaxon is so like your mum proper twins .. have a lovely time together."

It comes after Claire was publicly supported by boxer boyfriend Ricky as she admitted one of her current 'difficulties'. She admitted that her motivation is currently her biggest problem as she was seen at the end of an impressive early morning workout.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday (June 6), Claire shared a picture of herself in the gym. She could be seen sporting her all-black gym gear under what appeared to be a weighted vest. Despite the sweaty workout, the soap star still managed a smile for the camera. Writing to her 166,000 followers, Claire said: "5.30 am session done with @xbodyliverpool before heading to the Cobbles."
It was then when she admitted: "Finding it really hard to motivate myself these days to exercise. But feel so much better when I do. I need to get into a routine, which is hard sometimes when work, life, laziness and hormones get in the way!" And Ricky, aka 'The Hitman', was among those to respond to the post, writing: "You go girl," alongside a string of kisses.
