Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank has thrilled fans with a career update as he said is now "officially" starring in two ITV soaps.

The Billy Mayhew actor, 44, is renowned for his Corrie role, having spent almost a decade playing the Weatherfield vicar. But before he joined the cobbles, he was part of the Emmerdale cast.

Daniel played Ivan Jones for more than a year from 2005-2006. The character was only supposed to appear in three episode but producers were so impressed that his stay in Emmerdale was extended considerably.
