Coronation Street's Dylan star flooded with messages after 'friends' update amid court bullying scenes
Coronation Street star Liam McCheyne has been flooded with messages after offering a 'friends' update following his latest scenes. During the latest trip to the cobbles on Monday (April 8), viewers saw Dylan Wilson having to face Mason Radcliffe in court.
As fans of the ITV soap know, Mason and Dylan have been involved in a heartbreaking bullying storyline which has seen Mason being relentless in his targeting Liam ever since his arrival on screen last year. While Mason, played by Luca Toolan, was the cruel ringleader, the Weatherfield High student hasn't been alone in the taunting and abuse of the fellow teen as he's been supported by his gang of mates, including Liam's former friend Dylan.
However, the infuriating bullying campaign, which included Mason pulling a knife on a terrified Liam, recently resulted in the heartbreaking discovery that Liam was contemplating taking his own life with his mum Maria Connor watching his every move as she did what she could to get help and justice for her son.

But it was finally Mason's court date after Dylan backed Liam's claim that Mason had threatened him with a knife. After Liam's emotional testimony, it was time for Dylan to be questioned over her statement.
In worrying scenes, the conflicted youngster claimed he hadn't seen Mason with a knife after the bully threatened him and his family the day before the court appearance in the precinct. But after being reminded that he had sworn to 'tell the truth and nothing but the truth', Dylan backtracked and went against Mason and his threats.
It led to the judge deciding Mason's fate, and it looks like an exit is on the cards for the young teenager as she explained he would have to face a custodial sentence as he had been convicted of possessing a knife before.
Taking to Instagram after the scenes, Liam shared a picture of himself, Luca and Charlie Wrenshall, who plays Liam, alongside Gary Windass star Mikey North taken when they filmed the teen's day in court. "Behind the scenes photo from tonight's episode!" the soap star captioned the post on Instagram before adding: "We're all friends really!"
And it didn't take long for the praise to come flooding in for the young members of the Corrie cast. @sandra.mcgill.3956 said: "Everyone hated mason that's how you know the acting was great.
