Coronation Street's Geoff Metcalfe to show true colours to Sally again

From Digital Spy

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street schemer Geoff Metcalfe slips up again next week by letting Sally see his nasty side.

The evil villain loses his temper when he discovers that Sally (Sally Dynevor) is stepping up her support of his estranged wife Yasmeen.

Viewers have seen Sally grow unsettled around Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) in recent weeks, unwilling to believe that Yasmeen lashed out at him for no reason.

Next week, Sally's disapproval grows when Cathy Matthews (Melanie Hill) tells her about the time that Geoff locked Yasmeen in his magic box.

Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya (Sair Khan) then asks Sally to be a witness for the defence at the trial later this year.

Sally decides to visit Yasmeen (Shelley King) to hear her side of the story in full – and she's shocked by the details that her friend reveals.

Later, Sally tells Geoff that she has spoken to Yasmeen in person.

Geoff loses his temper and events come to a head when Tim (Joe Duttine) interrupts them, finding his dad furious and Sally visibly terrified.

Tim is quick to ask what's going on and is surprised to find out that Sally went to see Yasmeen.

Sally is now adamant that Geoff is the villain of the piece and can't be trusted. Will Geoff live to regret his latest outburst – and who will Tim believe as the family animosity gets worse?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 8 at 7.30pm on ITV.
