Coronation Street's Joel Deering in trouble as Bethany Platt gets suspicious
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has revealed Bethany Platt's suspicion over killer Joel Deering.
Last week, the soap hinted that Bethany could become Joel's next target after she unknowingly reached out to his victim Ellie — who has since disappeared from Weatherfield.
At the same time, Joel has been representing Nathan Curtis as his solicitor and has tried to convince him to plead guilty to Lauren's murder. Viewers now know that Joel is responsible for Lauren's disappearance.
Nathan seemingly foiled Joel's plot by sacking him as his lawyer following the continuous pressure over his plea. When Joel heard that the Weatherfield PD wanted to speak to Sarah Barlow, he offered to give her legal advice.
This could be a frightening omen for Sarah since she was recently caught by detective Kit Green trying to plant evidence in Nathan's van. In the end, Kit went ahead himself to plant the hair that led to Nathan's arrest.

Wednesday's (June 5) episode also revolved around Joel introducing his partner Dee-Dee Bailey to his parents, Anthea and Gus, for the first time.
The meeting didn't go well at all, with Joel's parents making it clear they did not approve of their son's relationship with Dee-Dee.
Dee-Dee ended up storming out after a snide remark from Anthea, only for Joel to turn up at the corner shop flat to propose marriage.
Dee-Dee initially hesitated before ultimately agreeing to become Joel's wife. The couple decided they wanted to share the news right away with Dee-Dee's brother Michael and father Ed.
The Baileys headed over to the Rovers Return to celebrate Dee-Dee's big news, where Sarah and Bethany looked on.

Sarah shared her congratulations to Dee-Dee and Joel, yet Bethany wasn't happy — she suspected there was more to Joel than meets the eye.
When Sarah suggested Bethany has got "a bit of a downer" for Joel, her daughter replied: "No, mother. What I've got, mother, are Spidey Senses."
Will Bethany be the one to catch out killer Joel?
