Blackpool-born Lucy and Liverpool-born Ryan, have since welcomed their son, Sonny Jude, into the world and celebrated his first birthday back in February. And fans are now getting to see more of Lucy and Ryan's relationship and family life with Sonny in new reality show Drama Queens.

But Lucy, 28, has already shared on-screen that she makes no secret of her desire to marry Ryan, 27, and she’s hoping he’ll surprise her with a diamond ring. "He hasn’t proposed yet, I’m still waiting," Lucy told OK! Magazine. "I have dropped subtle hints but I don’t want him to feel the pressure. I want to be taken aback. And I want to be completely surprised."

And Lucy’s so determined to get her surprise, she's now put the issue to the back of her mind. "I don’t want to talk about it all the time and have a sense that he’s going to do it," she added to the publication. "I’m just not going to mention it again, ever, to him. So then I’m totally taken by surprise and I can go, ‘Oooooh... I was not expecting that!’ Whatever he does will be the right thing. And it’ll be perfect."

But while Lucy loves being with Ryan, she hopes that by giving people a glimpse into her life, they’ll realise she hasn’t turned into a WAG. "I feel like I don’t really fit the description," she told OK! . "I don’t feel like I’m a Cheryl Cole kind of gal. And also, I’m actually not just a wife and girlfriend. I do have a job."

Lucy also adores being a mum and said: "The first couple of months were like a blur and you’re like, 'Oh my God, what is happening?' But it just gets better and better. Sonny is the best thing that has ever happened to both of us. We just love it. We have so much fun the three of us. It’s made our relationship even better having him around. Everything is just really nice."

However, Lucy, who can see having three children with Ryan, isn’t quite ready to add to her brood just yet. "Give me a minute!” she laughed. "Definitely not yet. I’ve only just gone back to work and I want to enjoy Sonny and be the three of us for as long as possible. I would like to have more in the future, but definitely not anytime soon."
