Coronation Street’s Tracy McDonald was left devastated after discovering the true extent of Tommy Orpington’s exit plan.
Tommy has faced an uncertain future in Weatherfield after his affair with Tracy was exposed by her husband Steve, with Steve and Tracy separating as a result.
Unbeknownst to her, Tommy had been mulling over leaving the country after being offered a role as an assistant coach for a football academy in Spain, leaving their relationship in jeopardy.

Tracy seems to be the only one out of the loop, however, with Steve even goading her about his knowledge of Tommy’s offer as he started to speak in Spanish.
He later conversed with daughter Amy as they debated Tommy’s job offer, with Steve remarking that he wanted to be “The Terminator” and tell Tracy the news, but Amy put her foot down and said she would inform her mum.
The plan didn’t last, with Steve letting slip to Tracy as they had an argument in The Rovers, leaving her stunned as she was faced with the realisation that her relationship could be ending.
In a bid to save face, Tracy told everybody that she already knew of Tommy’s plan as she left the pub, leaving Steve to be lambasted by Amy as she remarked that he should have been the “bigger person”.

Tracy and Tommy subsequently met for a glass of wine, but Tracy scolded him as she informed him that she had heard about his plan, with the pair leaving on bad terms as Tracy sarcastically said “adios”.
Steve later visited Tracy in a final bid to win her back, but she reiterated that their relationship was over. Tracy then confided in Amy that she was upset over Tommy's potential move.
