Two offices in London have sent home staff over coronavirus fears as the disease continues to spread across Europe.

It came after Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the UK had a "clear, four-part plan" to respond to the outbreak of the virus.

Meanwhile, around 160 Britons at a coronavirus-hit hotel in Tenerife will stay in lockdown until March 10, with some being told to remain in their rooms.

The World Health Organisation has called on countries around the globe to prepare for the arrival of Covid-19, as America warned that a pandemic was now likely.
