Corrections and clarifications

• An article about an inspection report said it found “275 visas” were granted by the Home Office to “a care home that did not exist”. The 275 figure related to the number of certificates of sponsorship granted. Also, while the inspection report’s foreword referred to a “care home that did not exist”, the main section explained that the application had been made by a company pretending to be a real care home, without that home’s knowledge (Home Office system for awarding care home visas ‘shocking’, report finds, 27 March, p12).
