Corrections and clarifications

• Chronic wasting disease is not a virus, as was said in an article. It is in fact a prion disease, one of a family of rare progressive neurodegenerative disorders (British Columbia reveals plan to combat ‘zombie deer disease’, 15 February, p25).

A letter transposed the years of strikes by the match girls and the London dockers, which took place in 1888 and 1889 respectively (10 February, Journal, p7).
