Corrections and clarifications

• An article said Russia “has thrown 40% of its production capacity into rearmament”; we meant to say 40% of its government budget (Trump’s Nato declaration a wake-up call for European leaders, 17 February, p37, early editions).

• In Feast, a recipe for herby mushroom and kidney bean stew (Hot stews for cold days, 27 January, p8) omitted to say that the kidney beans should be boiled for at least 10 minutes after soaking to remove toxicity and prevent food poisoning. And a recipe for leche frita with caramel blood oranges (17 February, p6) mistakenly said that the dish was gluten-free. The ingredients contained 50g plain flour.
