Coronation Street's Kate Connor throws caution to the wind tonight (November 17) as she urges Rana Nazir not to marry Zeedan.

The ITV soap has a must-see double bill lined up this evening as Rana (Bhavna Limbachia) finds herself at a crossroads on the day of her wedding.

Rana has agreed to make her union with Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) official in the form of a civil wedding ceremony, but she's secretly in turmoil after developing feelings for Kate.

As the big day dawns in tonight's episodes, Rana gives serious thought to dumping Zeedan on their wedding day as she considers an alternative future with Kate (Faye Brookes).

Rana even calls at Kate's flat and tells her that she only has to say the word and she'll call off the wedding so they can be together.

This surprise offer draws a furious reaction from Kate, who fears that Rana is trying to make her the bad guy by putting all of the pressure on her.

Later though, everything changes as Kate hits the bottle and realises this could be her only chance to work things out with Rana.

Despite knowing it would break Zeedan's heart, Kate phones Rana and leaves her an emotional message, telling her to call off her wedding as she loves her and wants to be with her.

When Zeedan is left waiting at the registry office, has Rana decided to stand him up? Or will Kate and Rana fans have to wait a little longer to see the pair get together properly?

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
