Yahoo News Corrie stalker fightback sees Leanne and Steve unite
Coronation Street's Michelle Connor gets two very unlikely supporters next week, as Steve McDonald and Leanne Battersby join forces to bring down Will Chatterton.
The ITV soap is lining up some dramatic scenes as Michelle finally discovers that Will is her stalker, but she's left frustrated when the police insist there's not enough evidence to arrest him.
Fortunately, help is at hand for Michelle when Leanne (Jane Danson) and Steve (Simon Gregson) both agree to help her out when she needs support the most.
Michelle has spent the past few months firing insults at the pair after discovering that they betrayed her by sleeping together, but it seems that troubled times are about to bring them all together for the greater good.
Leanne and Steve's plan is to search through Will's house for evidence while Michelle keeps him distracted with a business meeting at the Bistro.
These new pictures show Leanne and Steve on a frantic hunt for clues, but have they bitten off more than they can chew here? Can they manage to get out of the house before Will returns?
Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, recently told us: "[The story] leads to a situation where Michelle has to get help from the one person she doesn't want to have help from!
"She does go to the police, but they say they don't have enough evidence. They can't just go around arresting people without evidence, while Michelle obviously doesn't want to alert Will to the fact that she knows."
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, September 25 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
