Corrie's Ryan to face exit dilemma after Daniel and Daisy drama

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Ryan Connor will consider leaving Weatherfield behind next week, after he gets embroiled in even more drama with Daisy Midgeley and Daniel Osbourne.

Later this week, Daniel is heartbroken to discover that fiancée Daisy recently cheated on him with her ex, Ryan, and he immediately starts to plot his revenge on his love rival.

When Ryan cancels his planned move to Glasgow with his new love interest, Crystal, he is excited about starting a new job at a local gym instead.

However, Daniel sabotages Ryan's much-desired new start by getting in touch with the gym and exposing Ryan's past to them, which results in Ryan losing the job offer.

Confused by their sudden change of heart, the penny drops for Ryan when Daniel makes a throwaway comment about the gym job.

Ryan quickly tells Daisy that he thinks Daniel knows the truth about them, which is why he sabotaged his new job prospect, as he's keen for Ryan to get a job out of town instead, so that he won't be around anymore.

Later in the week, Daisy finally confesses to Daniel that she cheated on him with Ryan, unaware that he already knew all about it.

This leads to a dramatic fight between Daniel and Ryan on the street, witnessed by a number of Weatherfield residents.

Although she's annoyed that Ryan didn't tell her about his past with Daisy, Crystal informs Ryan that she's prepared to give him another chance. She reveals that she's leaving for Glasgow in two days' time, and it's up to him whether he wants to go with her or not.

Will Ryan leave the Street behind for a new life with Crystal?

If he chooses to stay, it sounds like Ryan will need to watch his back, as actor Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel, has warned that Ryan "should watch out for the long-laid plans" and "traps" that Daniel may set for Ryan.

"[Sabotaging Ryan's job] was warfare, but done behind the scenes to ruin Ryan's chances of staying at Weatherfield," he said. "I think we can expect things like this to happen."

Corrie producer Iain MacLeod has also teased that the love triangle will get even more complicated with the return of Daniel's own ex, Bethany Platt, in the coming months.

"In the middle of this really very volatile cocktail arrives Bethany, who's obviously got lots of history with Daniel," he said. "That very much sharpens Daisy's focus in terms of how she feels about Daniel. Suddenly there's a romantic threat on the cards and that recalibrates how Daisy feels about the whole enterprise."

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
