We’re still enjoying the unusually warm autumn weather, but Christmas is just around the corner and this year’s seasonal coffee cups are about to start coming your way.
First up is Costa, which has announced it will launch its festive takeaway cups on Tuesday 3 November alongside a brand new food menu, before announcing new Christmas drinks on 29 October. Because what is Christmas without a Costa Coffee Christmas Cup?
Let's discuss the Christmas drinks, shall we? Costa announced three new hot drinks: the Quality Street Purple One Latte (a Latte with a rich caramel chocolate sauce and roasted hazelnut syrup); an After Eight Hot Chocolate (with a festive splash of cool peppermint syrup) and Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate (flavoured with a specially created orange syrup). THESE SOUND INCREDIBLE.
Other returning favourites include the Irish Velvet Frostino, an indulgent creamy drink, the Black Forest Chocolate Frostino, a sweet cherry and velvety chocolate cold drink and Hot Spiced Apple, a flawless and fresh winter warmer.
As for the Christmas cups, this year’s feature FIVE new limited-edition designs, inspired by finding joy in the big and little moments. The cup designs feature:
The Rabbit and the Gingerbread Man posting their letter to Father Christmas (Mini)

Look out for the return of the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin, filled with chocolate orange sauce, and finished off with a segment of chocolate orange on top, as well as a new Lotus Biscoff Cheezecake.
