Costa Coffee confirms closure of high street store in North Wales town

Costa Coffee has confirmed it has closed a branch in Rhyl. The High Street store of the popular coffee chain has shut its doors to customers.

But company chiefs said there was a drive thru at the Marina, where people could still grab a drink from the brand. No employees have lost their jobs, Costa said.

A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our Rhyl High Street Costa Coffee store has closed its doors for trade. Customers can still enjoy their favourite Costa coffee at our nearby Drive Thru store at the Marina in Rhyl.

"All team members have relocated to this store, and look forward to continuing to serve the local community."
