Council care worker celebrating after winning Made In Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw

A council adult care worker is celebrating after winning the Made In Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw.

Angela Davies has scooped the prize with ticket number 21697.

Angela, who joined the draw in January 2020, works in the adult care re-enablement team at the council, where she has worked for 16 years.

Staff at the local authority have more than 330 tickets in the draw, making the council an official supporter.

Angela will be spending her winnings in October during a trip to Dubai to visit her daughter and grandchild.

The draw is a not-for-profit scheme with funds raised from the draw supporting start-up businesses in Bury with training and interest free loans.
