Council to meet twice

May 4—The Ada City Council will hold two meetings on Monday, May 6, to swear in two new council members and elect the mayor and vice mayor.

Yoli Vazquez and Holly Johnson will take the oath at a noon City Council meeting in the Irving Community Center. The election of the mayor and vice mayor will follow.

The council will meet again for its regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. at the Dr. Ray L. Stout Council Chambers at City Hall.

The main items on the agenda for the council are a design proposal for Cherry Roadway that will affect waterlines and action on bids for micro-surfacing maintenance projects.
