Countryfile's Adam Henson announces bittersweet update following 'sad passing'

BBC Countryfile presenter Adam Henson has shared an emotional update with his fans, detailing a bittersweet moment of loss and joy. On Saturday, June 14, Henson posted on social media about the "sad passing" of his horse Victoria, while also welcoming the birth of a new foal.

Adam took to his social media to express his feelings, writing: "After the sad passing of Victoria last week, I'm delighted to share the news that my #SuffolkPunch mare, Lexy, has given birth to a beautiful #colt."

He added: "He is doing extremely well and will be staying alongside Lexy with local expert #breeders to allow them to form a strong bond together, before joining us back at @cotswoldfarmpark. #foal #horses #farmlife."

The post garnered a warm response from followers, with one saying: "How gorgeous is he? Sorry for your loss of Victoria xx" Another commented: "Wow he's a little smasher he's got some lovely strong legs and a beautiful face."

A third fan remarked: "What an absolute beauty ... good to see the Suffolk Punch bloodline continues Adam", as reported by Birmingham Live, reports Wales Online.

One of his followers expressed: "So sorry for your loss but how wonderful is life to then to give you this gift," while another enthused: "What a little Bute , we have had some lovely new season foals at my local Suffolk punch trust home at Woodbridge. Such a beautiful horse, such a lovely outcome and Lexi is such a beautiful loving mum xx,".

"Such a great breed to preserve congratulations xx," one person commented. "I could squidge him all day. Such a gorgeous little chap," another added.

"Well done Lexy hope you and your gorgeous boy are doing well," chimed in a third.

"So happy to see this, we were at the farm when we saw the horses being moved and I knew something wasn't right, but this news is great to see," someone else shared.

One Instagram user enthused: "he looks a lovely big strong boy."
