Courtney Stodden Reveals They Had a Miscarriage: 'I Feel Grief in Every Sense of the Word'
"I'm sharing this to shine light on the fact that no matter how early a loss occurs, it's still a loss," wrote Stodden on Instagram
Courtney Stodden is experiencing a "roller coaster of emotions" after learning that they had a miscarriage.
Stodden, who identifies as non-binary and uses she/they pronouns, issued a trigger warning before announcing the news in a candid Instagram post on Friday.
"This is a hard one but I believe it to be important given others experience exactly this same thing in silence. I recently found out that I suffered an early miscarriage (around 10 weeks) ; it's been a roller coaster of emotions. I feel grief in every sense of the word," wrote Stodden.

The Celebrity Big Brother alum said that although the miscarriage occurred early in their pregnancy, it brought a "feeling of loneliness" that they "can't shake."
"I'm sharing this to shine light on the fact that no matter how early a loss occurs, it's still a loss," continued Stodden. "I've tried to keep this to myself, just a few close relatives and friends know — but I thought it was important to just accept the fact and hopefully find some peace as there is strength in numbers."
They ended their post by extending a personal message to their fans.

"If this has happened to you or ever does, it's not your fault. God bless every one and count your blessings. We are all love ❤️," Stodden wrote.
The announcement comes only months after Stodden celebrated their 29th birthday by announcing that they are "feeling free."
"28, I needed you 🥹You pushed me to become a stronger woman. Ringing in 29 with fierce independence in my own place, on my own - for the first time in my life. I have so much gratitude in my soul and immense excitement for what’s to come," the model wrote next to a clip of themselves jumping and dancing on a sofa on Instagram in August 2023.
