Coventry City confirm player's departure with parting message

Coventry City have confirmed the departure of Callum O’Hare after the player’s contract officially come to an end.

The 26-year-old brings an end to a five-year spell with the Sky Blues and sparks plenty of speculation as to where he will end up next. Mark Robins had hoped to convince the attacking midfielder, who became a firm fans’ favourite during his time at the club, would stay on.

The former Aston Villa academy prospect had been offered a new deal by owner Doug King but instead opted to run down his contract and leave the CBS Arena as a free agent.

The club confirmed his departure on social media with a picture on their X platform, formerly known as Twitter, simply saying: “Thank you for everything, Cal. Good luck in your next chapter.”
